Agencies in this country have already been criticized for not getting education seriously enough. During the time of writing it is heavily promoting leadership training and you will find an amount of grants offered to organizations planning to specifically boost their control - and this could include sales control. Ongoing training remains the responsibility of line management, but responsibility lies also with the person. To promote individual responsibility a system have been created by some corporations whereby the individual sets out their own training program. These are the so called Learning Companies. In some cases this has given management the reason to abdicate responsibility for training. This pattern should be reversed.??
